Co-micronization is an innovative and cost-effective method for simultaneously micronizing two or more substances. Typically, this process involves an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) combined with an excipient, though formulations can also include multiple APIs or excipients. The excipient is often added in smaller proportions to enhance the mechanical properties and flowability of the API, which remains the primary component.

Traditionally, blending and micronization are separate steps in powder processing. However, Munit’s innovative co-micronization approach seamlessly combines these into a single, highly efficient step.
